How many CE hours do I need to renew my license?
Effective November 1, 2009:
PRODUCERS: 24 hours of CE every two year license renewal period which must include 3 hours of ethics and 2 hours of legislative update. Title producers are required to have 16 hours including 2 hours ethics and 2 hours legislative update.
CSRs: 13 hours every two year license renewal period which must include 3 hours ethics and 2 hours legislative update.
ADJUSTERS: 24 hours of CE every two years license renewal period which must include 3 hours of ethics and 2 hours legislative update.

How does the online self-study work?
You will choose a course by going to the "Find a Course" page and selecting options. Pick from the Available Courses for your license type. Purchase the selected course and complete the checkout. The course textbook material will be emailed to you in a PDF file and the course examination will be found on your personal account page.

How do I complete my Continuing Education with Stone Insurance Education?
Former users: Login to your account with username and password.
New users: Click "First Time to Register"
on the home page.
Go to "Find a Course" (red navigation bar).
Drop down menu - Select from the four options to find a course.
Select from list of Available Courses based on number of CE hours needed.
After purchasing the course you will receive an e-mail with your course textbook material attached in a PDF file. When you have read and studied the material and when you are ready to take your exam, return to the website - www.stonece.com
Login to your account. On the Welcome Back page, click on "Incomplete Online CE Exams" to drop down the test list. Click on the title of your course test and you will enter your test. A monitor must be present before you begin your test.
A Monitor must enter his/her information and create a password. After every 10 questions of the exam the Monitor will be asked to enter the password in order to continue. The test is untimed and with an option to "Save Answers and Exit Test" at the bottom of each page.
At the end of the test you will click "Grade My Test". At this point you will know if you passed. You must score 70% of the multiple choice questions to receive certification. If you do not pass you may take the test a total of 5 times.
Stone will electronically send certification on the next business day to the Oklahoma Insurance Department through Sircon. Certification will reflect the date of the completed exam. At this point you may login to your account and print a copy of the certificate for your records.

Where is my textbook study material?
After purchasing the course you will receive an e-mail with the course textbook material attached as a PDF file. You should receive your course textbook material within 5 minutes of purchase.

How do I get to my test?
After you have studied your course material, go to stonece.com and login with your username and password. On the Welcome Back Page click on "Incomplete Online CE Exams" which will drop down your test list. Click on the red title of the course. Your monitor must be present before you begin your test.

Who is a Monitor?
A monitor is defined by the Oklahoma Insurance Department as a disinterested third party that is not related to the examinee, not an immediate supervisor or employee of the examinee, and not concerned, with respect to possible gain or loss, in the result of a pending course final examination.

What is the Monitor required to do?
Your Monitor will enter his/her information and create a password. After every 10 questions of the exam, the Monitor will be required to enter the password in order for you to continue with the exam.

How much time do I have to finish the test?
CAUTION: Do not let your computer sit idle for more than 20 minutes. The test will close and your answers will not be saved.
Otherwise, the test is not timed and can be saved at any point by scrolling to the bottom of any test page and click "Save Answers and Exit Test". The time frame for completing this exam is only limited by course expiration or a maximum of 6 months or your license expiration date.

When will I know I passed?
At the end of the test you will grade your test to know if you passed. You must score 70% of the multiple choice questions to receive certification. If you do not pass you may take the test a total of 5 times.

When will the course be Certified?
Once the test is completed and passed, Stone will electronically send certification on the next business day to the Oklahoma Insurance Department through State Based Systems. Certification will reflect the date of the completed exam. At this point you may login to your account on our website and print a copy of the certificate for your records. Your CE transcript may be viewed on StateBasedSystems.com

How do I pay for my course?
Credit Card- Cardholder name and billing address must be correct for the credit card being used. NO Credit Card numbers are stored in our system.
Pay by Mail- Final page of payment will display order number and address to send with payment. Please print this page and include with payment. Caution: CE certification will not be filed until payment is received.
Pre Arranged Billing- Used only if your company has made prior arrangements with Stone Insurance Education. You will be asked to enter company name, authorized company representative, and his/her phone number.

Do I take my Oklahoma Resident Licensing exam through Stone Insurance?
Stone Education is not a testing service. The Oklahoma Insurance Department uses PSI Exams as the testing service. In the application process with the state, you will receive information about PSI Exams testing service.
NOTE: We recommend taking the licensing exams 3-10 days after Stone's Exam Prep training courses.

We have organized our exam prep training classes to coordinate with the licensing exams.

For Life/Accident & Health Producers/CSRs, the licensing exams are:
1) Life/Accident & Health
2) Life only

Which Exam Prep training do I need to become an Adjuster?
We have organized our training classes to coordinate with the licensing exams. Both Personal lines and Commercial lines are necessary to become a full lines adjuster.

May I cancel or transfer to another pre-licensing seminar?
You may transfer to any other scheduled STONE Insurance Education Exam Prep training seminar within 6 months at no additional charge.
If you cancel at least 3 business days in advance, we will gladly refund your money; cancellation of 2 days or less will only allow you to transfer to another class or send a substitute in your place.

What do I bring to class?
STONE Insurance Education will distribute all class workbooks and study materials when you arrive. No other materials are required for Stone's Exam Prep classes.
Bring pen or pencil and highlighters to use in your workbooks.
Wear layers of casual and comfortable clothing, realizing that temperatures in classrooms may vary.
